Standard workshops are about 2 hours - Full day workshops are approx 6hrs.

The workshops are very hands on so be prepared for some fun interactions. Class projects are designed to your skill level or the age group. Choose from a number of themes or we can customise a workshop that suits your needs. Sewing Machine workshops are unique in that we use traditional Vintage Hand crank Singer sewing machines. Learning to sew on a hand crank helps you understand the mechanics while creating something one stitch at a time. And because these are non powered, we can set up anywhere! Even by the seaside!

The hat re-modelling classes are designed to teach some basic millinery skills that will help you transform your old battered hat into something delightfully fresh and fabulous.

The pattern making and drafting workshops will give you great insight on how they design and make garments in industry. You will be drafting your own skirt and bodice so you can make garments that fit you properly while learning about fabrics, draping, and the techniques to get that professional finish.

The latest in workshops is the Machine maintenance workshop, where you bring along your machine and together we give it some TLC, a service and answer any questions or queries you may have about your machine.

COSTS: Standard Adult workshop is $45 per person, Full day from $100 includes most materials. (min 2 people- max 8). Children’s after school workshops are 1 1/2 hrs and cost $30 per child. Holiday programs are $35 per child and are 2-3 hrs.( inc all materials)

WHEN: Most adult workshops are run on the weekends however weeknight or day sessions are also possible

Bookings Essential.   (A 50% non refundable deposit must be paid prior to all full day workshops. Balance can be paid on the day) Larger groups for workshops, demonstrations or lectures can be arranged at the workroom or at your place. POA.
